Based near Chester, Foxes Bark must be one of the most experienced Country Dance Bands in the North West. Over the years, the band   has built up an enviable reputation for quality, reliability and punctuality but primarily for delivering an excellent evening of entertainment.

The band normally performs as a trio, led by Marian on piano accordion, and Tom on guitar. Should   an event require it, the band can be expanded to four or five piece, adding further instruments. Marian also plays the Celtic Harp.

Foxes Bark work closely with a small number of very experienced callers who act as MC for the evening.

As well as playing for barn dances,  ceilidhs, hoe downs, etc.   Foxes Bark has run a highly successful Country Dance Club  for many years. This currently meets at Manley Village Hall on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month, from September to May. It also hosts an annual Christmas Ceilidh at Kelsall Community Centre.
